July

Where has July gone? Boy, that was quick! This is just a glimpse of what we have been doing this summer!
I introduced Emma to stamping (found this Melissa and Doug stamp set at our local thrift store for $2!!!!) and she loves to 'paint horses.'

We play lots and lots of play dough!

This pool has been a hit! We got it from an old landlord three years ago and finally got it out for the first time this summer!

We found a great recipe for homemade watercolors, and I loved it!

Both girls loved finding treasures in our frozen ice, but unfortunately most of our treasures were choking hazards and Emma got to keep them.

... and what better to eat than chalk?
I also made a 'chicken match' game with some fabric from Mom's store. Eventually it will turn in to Memory, but for now, we just match. And match. And match.

{escape}

Nick left to pack the car for more reunion.ing up Teton Canyon and I found Emma at the door after he left singing "I go up the canuuuuun. I go up the canuuuuun. I go out with Daddy. I go up the canuuuun pease!" The funny thing is she can open the doorknob and instead chose to use a screwdriver to "unlock" the door.

Uh-oh...

Well... she can walk! I am NOT ready for this yet. We are having my family reunion this week, and she picks this week when we will be camping on uneven, rocky ground to walk. She is sure proud of herself and so am I!

{zoo}

We spent the morning at the Idaho Falls Zoo today as a family. It's not a great big zoo, but an hour and a half was all out little kids were interested in anyway.

The binoculars were a big hit with Emma...

And Macie liked the Lion Daddy bought her!

We all had a great time, even if we don't all love pictures.

Summer

I love summer! We have been outside all day... shoes off just playing in the grass.
